A.R.K. Coalition Inc. is proud to host the Dorm Supply Giveaway at Florida Memorial University. This initiative is designed to support college students by providing essential dorm room items that help create a comfortable and successful living environment as they begin the academic year. The Dorm supply Giveaway provides students with a Twin size Comforter, Twin Sheet Sets, Towel sets and a Pillow. A.R.K. Coalition Inc. and The Resource Room are partners in helping collect the dorm supplies since 2024. The long term goal will be to include more colleges in the community.

LET’S TALK ! is a platform for students to express their feelings about issues that effect them as students during school and outside of school. Let’s Talk will consist of a panel of 6 students and a host to mediate the questions that’s being asked to the panel. We are welcoming the community, students and parents to be in the audience to ask questions or comment on certain issues as it relates to the communities social habitat. The purpose of Let’s Talk is to educate different communities on how to deal with kids problems to help kids become better students in school. Primarily, the things that go on at home, at the park, social media and other places kids hangout. Many obstacles arise during schools that start and fester at other places than school.

Social Steps! Is an initiative to select a group of kids and introduce, educate and expose them to parts of the world that’s unfamiliar to them, nevertheless providing organized settings for kids to enhance their social development skills. Educating kids by exposing them to many different facets of our society helps kids reach for the stars and go further to accomplish what their goals are in life.
The Alfred Parker scholarship fund was established in the honor of the late great Alfred Parker. Coach Alfred Parker was one of the pillars of our community and was instrumental in building Florida Memorial University’s basketball and education programs where he coached and taught for over 20 years before his untimely departure in 2005. This scholarship fund will reflect Alfred Parker's tenacity, educational effectiveness and competitive zeal.
